《比利时信条》第二条 论启示（神如何向我们启示祂自己）

　　我们藉着两种途径认识祂：

　　第一，藉着神对天地万物的创造、保护和治理；即是呈现在我们眼前的一部杰作1，其中一切受造之物，无论大小，都如同书上的字句在引导我们清楚认识神不可见的特性，正如使徒保罗在罗马书一章20节中所说的“祂的永能和神性”。这一切足以定人有罪，且叫人无可推诿。

　　第二，只要那是对于祂得荣耀和我们今生得救所必不可少的事，神已藉着祂的圣言非常清楚、完全地向我们启示了2。

　　We know Him by two means: First, by the creation, preservation, and government of the universe; which is before our eyes as a most beautiful book, wherein all creatures, great and small, are as so many letters leading us to perceive clearly the invisible qualities of God namely His eternal power and deity, as the apostle Paul says in Rom_1:20. All these things are sufficient to convict men and leave them without excuse. Second, He makes Himself more clearly and fully known to us by His holy and divine Word as far as is necessary for us in this life, to His glory and our salvation.
