（仁爱篇节选）耶稣并不是故意掩饰自己的身份，只是祂放下自己的身份，以致别人根本看不出祂就是万王之王；这也是祂在别离时，要教导门徒的功课，祂拿起毛巾来洗门徒那肮脏的脚。这些人中，有包括那在众人面前否认祂的彼得，并出卖祂的犹大。当时，没有一人配得接受耶稣那卑微的服事，基督一生就是过奴仆的生涯，虽然将来有一天祂要作王；但在世的时候是做一个奴仆，祂没有自己的主权，只有被人利用，甚至吃饭的时间都没有。这种奴仆的心态，在耶稣日常生活中表露无遗。

（喜乐篇节选）现在离春节的日子越来越近了，我不晓得你是不是这样的，就是每逢节日的时候都会给亲朋好友发祝福的短信或电子邮件什么的，现在有些通讯软件当你发出生日快乐时，会自动出现很多漂亮精致的小蛋糕，像下雨一样地落下来，那如果你发圣诞快乐，就会出现一小棵一小棵的圣诞树降落。这些很简单的祝福的话语都会让我们觉得开心一阵子，那想一想，圣经说的，是来自天上的福气喔，和地上人给的福气完全不同档次的祝福，怎么会不让我们觉得喜乐呢？

很多时候我们感觉不到喜乐，是不是因为我们并没有意识到自己手中已经拥有的东西呢？其实你是财主，但却活得像奴隶；其实你是爱子，但却活得像浪子。这样的话，真的很难感受到喜乐啊。你愿意和乐欣一起去寻找喜乐的泉源吗？

（和平篇节选）撒旦会攻击我们个体，他会攻击我与你的关系，你与别人的关系，只要哪里出现了漏洞，他就会立刻，以飞快的速度去做更多破坏的工作。如同吼叫的狮子，遍地游行，寻找可吞吃的人。正因为如此，所以耶稣教导我们当我们在祭坛上献礼物的时候，如果想起弟兄向我们怀有怨气，就应该把礼物留在坛前，先去同弟兄和好，然后才来献礼。
